Publication status: Draft — operational and legal review required.
Last revised: November 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how ScalpSignal (“we,” “us,” or “our”) processes personal information in connection with scalpsignal.com (the “Site”). The Site offers financial-market information, charts, scanners, educational materials, and related tools. This policy covers visitors and users of the Site. Some features are provided by third parties and may have separate privacy terms.
1. Information we may collect
- Information you submit: name, email address, messages, and information included in contact or support requests.
- Account information, if registration is enabled: account identifiers, login-related records, and preferences. Do not state that public accounts are available unless activated.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser/device details, referring URLs, access timestamps, request records, and security or error logs processed by the hosting and security systems.
- Tool inputs: symbols, filters, watchlists, and uploaded CSV files used in scanner or testing features. Processing and storage depend on the particular tool. Do not upload personal or confidential information in market-data files.
- Third-party data: market-chart and embedded-content providers may collect technical information directly when their content loads.
We do not ask you to submit passwords, government identifiers, financial account credentials, or payment-card numbers through general contact forms.
2. How information is used
We may process information to operate and maintain the Site; provide requested features; respond to inquiries; protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents; troubleshoot errors; comply with law; and maintain appropriate business records. If newsletters, marketing, analytics, advertising, paid subscriptions, or member features are enabled, this policy must be updated to explain those activities and applicable choices before launch.
3. Cookies, local storage, and tracking
WordPress, site security, performance features, embedded widgets, and user preferences may use cookies or browser storage. Some watchlist or preference tools may save data locally in your browser. Blocking or clearing cookies and local storage can affect site functionality. Third-party widgets may use their own cookies and tracking technologies. Any consent banner or opt-out mechanism must accurately reflect the technologies actually deployed; this policy alone is not a substitute for consent where legally required.
4. Third-party charts, market data, and external links
The Site may integrate or link to services such as TradingView and Massive (formerly Polygon) for market-related functionality. A provider may receive browser and usage information when an embed loads or an external link is opened. Server-side market-data requests may be handled differently and do not necessarily transmit a visitor’s identity. Each provider controls its own privacy practices. Review its privacy notice and terms before using its services. Listing a provider here does not mean every feature is active or that the provider receives all Site visitor data.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We may disclose information to service providers that operate hosting, security, website infrastructure, communications, and features actually enabled on the Site, subject to appropriate arrangements. We may also disclose information to comply with legal process, enforce Site terms, protect rights and safety, or as part of a lawful business transition. We do not claim that personal data is never shared: embedded services and infrastructure providers can process data. Any sale, targeted advertising, or sharing practices, if introduced, require additional disclosure and legally required choices.
6. Data retention
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for its relevant purpose, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution, subject to actual hosting, backup, log, email, and application settings. Retention periods vary by category. Before publication, the operator must verify the specific periods and deletion procedures for server logs, emails, uploaded files, backups, analytics, and accounts. Data in third-party services is subject to those services’ retention rules.
7. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the Site, including access controls and security maintenance where configured. No website, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Report suspected misuse or security concerns using the contact details below. Never submit brokerage passwords, API keys, or other confidential credentials through public forms or CSV uploads.
8. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about personal data processing, and to object to or opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact info@scalpsignal.com. We may verify identity, respond within legally applicable time frames, and apply permitted exceptions. You may also manage browser cookies and local storage through your browser settings. If legally required opt-out or consent tools are implemented, their links will be provided here.
9. International visitors
The Site is operated for a U.S.-based audience but may be accessible internationally. Information may be processed in countries where the operator or its service providers operate. Visitors in jurisdictions with additional privacy requirements may have further rights. Before actively targeting those regions, verify the required disclosures, lawful bases, international-transfer safeguards, and consent mechanisms.
10. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us to request review and appropriate deletion. Age-specific obligations may differ by jurisdiction.
11. Automated analysis and financial tools
Market scanners, technical indicators, and strategy tools may process symbols, settings, and market datasets to generate calculations or research outputs. These outputs are not personalized financial advice. The Site should not be used to submit sensitive personal information for analysis. If AI-powered services process user-submitted text or files in the future, the operator must disclose the provider, data flows, retention, and relevant choices before enabling them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in features, providers, practices, or legal obligations. The revision date above will be updated. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
13. Contact
For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, email info@scalpsignal.com. The responsible business/operator name and mailing address should be added before publication if required by applicable law.
Before publishing: verify actual cookies and embedded scripts; whether forms, analytics, marketing, accounts, uploads, and payments are active; data retention and deletion settings; service-provider list; applicable state/international laws; and the correct privacy contact and operator details. Obtain qualified legal review. This is a draft policy, not a guarantee of compliance or legal advice.
